Recapping my trip to Greece : Day Three
This is the day where I took most of the pictures… it’s a HUGE post.
So, in the morning we went visiting the Εθνικό Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο. (And because you can understand greek, you figured out it meant National Archaeological Museum of Athens). I apologize for the bad quality of the pictures, most of the objects had glass to protect them, so there are reflects and all…
That’s the museum, inside and out. (more…)

Recapping my trip to Greece : Day Two
The second day wasn’t really that passionating, we mostly walked in Athens to see how it looks like, so I don’t have lots of pictures.
So, in the morning, we took the subway at Larissa station. One funny thing is that most of the subway stations in Athens have artwork to decorate them.
The first two pictures were taken at Larissa station and made by the same artist, a dude named Yannis Gaïtis. The first one has a name and it’s “Crowds of People”, and in the second one, it’s just red chairs. The last picture was taken at Omonia station, and it’s all made of Confetti!
After getting out of the subway, we went to the university of Athens, and it’s beautiful! Just take a look at those pictures: (more…)

Recapping my trip to Greece : Day One
First of all, it’s the “Festival d’Avignon” (en) (fr) here, so if any of you want me to go picture hunting downtown to show you how the ambiance and all is like, just say so (I didn’t go until now because it’s overcrowded, but I hear some of the shows are great so I might go and have a look).

So, I’m finally doing it, yes, it was about time. But I get lazy, you know… Anyway, this is it.
Ahem. We (my family and me) flew from Marseille to Munich, where we “kindly boarded the aircraft” (they kept repeating the word kindly, it was funny) to Athens. It might be boring for you, but I love airports, there are so many people from so many different countries and all, it’s just awesome. Of course, you have to endure the security checks to access the awesomeness… Though I won’t complain because for once they didn’t search me.
Here are pictures of the different airports (click on them to see them fully) : (more…)

Bomb Iran Song – Alex Arrowsmith (Lyrics and MP3)
I’m uploading something like 250 pictures of the trip to Greece, and it’s taking a looooooong time, so you’ll have to be patient, I’m sorry. While you wait and wander here like a lost soul or a crippled pancake, you can listen to that song:
Alex Arrowsmith apparently wrote this song (after McCain’s joke about the Beach Boy’s song) .
Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran
Oh bomb Iran, after Pakistan
Bomb Iran
You got me hiding in my bunker
Crying for my children
Bomb Iran
Went to Iraq, and the Communist Bloc
Didn’t like that so I’ll bomb around the clock
I’ll bomb Iran, after Pakistan
Bomb Iran
You got me hiding in my bunker
Crying for my children
Bomb Iran (more…)
